A drill (in this context)is an exercise or practice for what to do in an emergency (especially for the military).
You repeat a drill so many times that you always know what's going to happen.
So if someone uses the expression "you know the drill", it means the person doesn't need to continue explaining the situation because you already know exactly what they would say.
